Candid Conversations: Collaboration
In this Candid Conversations panel, we dive into what it takes to build ambitious partnerships and maintain meaningful collaborations. We will hear first-hand stories of collaborations and common pitfalls directly from each of our speakers while also exploring questions such as:
- What should a successful partnership feel like?
- How does one solicit partnerships with brands, artists, and organizations?
- How does one source and pitch a potential partner?
- When should you collaborate or do it yourself?
- How do I have difficult conversations when collaboration is failing?
- What tools and strategies are available to use while collaborating with your partners?
Moderated by Anna Wiesen (Somewherelse fka Young Offenders), we'll be joined by Anna Bediones (A to the Bed), Dwayne Kennedy (The Collections, RE/SET), and Alia Rasul and Maricris Rivera of the Tita Collective.
Following the panel discussion, join us for a session on knowledge mapping, networking and a guided conversation that digs deeper into the theme of collaboration in a small-scale, intimate workshop.
