The Tita Collective: Powered by Community

Description

Overview

This 3-hour workshop will help you develop and apply strategies for collaboration drawing on shared values and a creative approach to achieving personal and collective goals. The importance of building community and culture early will be explored to ensure success down the road. The Tita Collective will draw on their experiences across disciplines to support participants to map out their own collaborative journey. Participants will surface real and actionable insights while exploring questions such as:

  • How do I balance the need for speed with the need to spend time upfront to ensure that everyone is on the same page?
  • How do we align diverse, artistic objectives to create work that feels coherent?
  • What strategies exist to prioritize healthy and happy collaborators?
  • How can we structure conversations about resources and how they are allocated?

Participants will leave with practices to building teams that are the right “fit” for projects, project management tools that prioritizes artist health and well-being, communication strategies to set up collaborations for success, and insights into unorthodox partnerships to resource and/or finance your work.
