Looking to make the most out of a minimalist crew and kit? This workshop provides an introduction to equipment and production workflows aimed a helping solo and small crews capture high-quality video content in fast-paced environments. This workshop takes a "what's in your bag" approach to preparing a field kit that is optimized for a variety of settings from corporate events to expedition travel and documentary filmmaking.
In-class exercises will offer participants opportunities to:
- Handle sample equipment. (Note, however, that equipment operation is not the focus.)
- Put concepts to the test via group exercises.
- Share tips and tricks with each other.
Who's It For?
This workshop is ideal for beginner to intermediate videographers with a basic understanding of video production. Equipment is not required, but participants are encouraged to bring their own camera/field kit to share best practices with their peers.
