ANNUAL ART BUSINESS PLAN: Become More Focused and Productive


A three-part series of 90-minute workshops designed to support creative entrepreneurs to develop their arts-based business during this challenging time of social distancing and beyond. Each week, professional life and career coach for artists and creatives, Chris Mitchell will guide participants through interactive and self-reflective exercises and introduce customizable tools and tips to facilitate goal setting, action planning, refine decision-making strategies and increase focus and productivity. Supplementary worksheets for each session will support further individual exploration, planning and personal/professional growth.

The format is suitable for participants to register for individual or multiple sessions.

Session 1: Build Your Arts-Based Business from the Inside Out
This workshop will help you identify what values are most important to you as a creative entrepreneur. Learn how to leverage this self-awareness to better evaluate your opportunities and help you determine how and where you drive your arts-based business moving forward.

You Will Learn

●Identify and articulate your core values and what is most fulfilling to you as a creative entrepreneur.
●Clarify how this awareness can enhance your approach to goal setting & decision making as you build your business.
●Hone in on specific opportunities to be more strategic moving forward.

Session 2: Get Out of Your Head and into Action
This workshop will help you to clarify your vision and create an actionable plan for taking your arts-based business to the next level - wherever you are in your journey as a creative entrepreneur! Transcribe your dreams and ambitions into an action plan that will set you up for success.

You Will Learn

●Focus in on what you’d really like to accomplish in the next 12 months and solidify your motivation.
●Identify goals and priorities that are meaningful and realistic
●Create a three month action plan to move forward.

Session 3: Become More Focused and Productive
This workshop will help you tap into your motivation, nurture your ability to focus and be more aware of what it takes for you to show up in the best way for your arts-based business and for yourself as a creative entrepreneur.

You Will Learn

●Energize your commitment to goals and projects that matter to you and your business.
●Identify likely obstacles and distractions and develop a practice of setting yourself up to facilitate your focus and productivity.
●Build time management strategies to stay on top of key priorities day-to-day and week-to-week.

About the Speaker:
Chris Mitchell is a life and career coach who supports artists, creative entrepreneurs and leaders working in arts and culture at pivotal points when they need help to focus on their true priorities, strategize and build confidence to take their practice or career to the next level or a new direction. She works side-by-side with artists and creatives to empower their awareness and capacity and to help them build sustainable and fulfilling lives as creative professionals. Her professional experience has evolved over three decades of leadership positions in creative and arts-based businesses and non-profit arts organizations. Over the course of her career, Chris has collaborated with and supported individuals to achieve hundreds of artistic projects and entrepreneurial initiatives. She holds a BFA and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaches Federation.
