Intro to Video ProductionThis workshop is a hands-on introduction to the video production resources available at Launchpad’s Digital Media Lab. Some background in video production is recommended, but not essential. This workshop will cover everything you need to know to get started using our studio and equipment, including Blackmagic cameras, lenses, lighting and post-production facilities. The content of this course will be tailored to address the specific needs and experience levels of the attendees. This course is focused on the technical craft of video production, but will be situated within a broader conversation on creativity and entrepreneurship.

About the Instructor:

Benny Tan (@bnnytn) is an expert in film and television production with experience working in dynamic roles across the world. Prior to Launchpad, Benny supported content creators as the technical lead and studio coordinator at YouTube Space Toronto and worked in various film, TV, and commercial productions including McLaren, The Breaker Uppers, and MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles.
