Producing Independent Film/VideoWhat happens when your shoot runs out of money, time, or light, and when everything that can go wrong, goes horribly, horribly wrong? In this workshop you will learn how to work like a producer and to crush these problems before they start, saving everyone time and money. This workshop will be relevant to anyone working on $0-100K videos whether they are for short films, social media, or commercial projects.

The workshop will be taught through lecture and practical exercises. Some background in video production is recommended. The content of this course will be tailored to address the specific needs and experience levels of the attendees.

If you have a project in pre-production or something you would like to work on in the future feel free to bring a little plan or pitch for it in and we can think about it as a class.

About the Instructor:

Benny Tan (@bnnytn) is an expert in film and television production with experience working in dynamic roles across the world. Prior to Launchpad, Benny supported content creators as the technical lead and studio coordinator at YouTube Space Toronto and worked in various film, TV, and commercial productions including McLaren, The Breaker Uppers, and MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles.
