This workshop will provide a roadmap for emerging musicians to strategically communicate their visual identity as an artist and surrounding a body of work. We will be discussing creative development, processes, and strategies for Artists.
Eric Richards and Rahul Madan are the creative directors behind contemporary label WIL Studios, sister creative agency, What I Like Studio, and What We Like – a non-for-profit focused on assisting and empowering BIPOC artists and entrepreneurs through opportunities and mentorship. Between the two, Eric and Rahul have extensive experience across the fashion, film, and music industries, collaborating with the likes of Daniel Caesar, Charlotte Day Wilson, Nike, Adidas, Mooseknuckles, Universal Music, and the City of Toronto, to name a few. No matter the medium or matter, Eric and Rahul strive to remain adaptable in their process, find solutions to complex problems, and always offer a thoughtful approach to their work.

RBC Launchpad Music Entrepreneurship Program is a 4-month educational initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering local emerging artists, music creators, and entrepreneurs. The new edition of the program welcomes 50 participants between the ages of 18 to 35 that have been selected from more than 400 applications from all over Canada.
As part of this initiative, we are offering a number of music entrepreneurship workshops that are open to the Launchpad community and the public. Please note, some extra curriculum materials might be only available for the program participants.
