Join us for a conversation with Daniel Glogower, Head of Business Development for BeatClub, moderated by Martín Añón / Anxxon.
During this 90 min talk, Daniel will be breaking down his career in the music business as an A&R, manager, and entrepreneur working with high-profile artists such as Kanye West, J.Balvin, Pharrel Willians, Frank Ocean, and John Legend among many others. Daniel will be sharing how he balances different roles, and how he has been able to build his network in the music industry.

We will also be touching on BeatClub's strategy to empower emerging creatives worldwide, the role of tech in the music industry, and insights on artist-brand sponsorships and collaborations.

About the Speaker:

Daniel Glogower is a music industry professional with a strong, proven track record in talent relations, management and music/ tech creative partnerships. With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, and rich history of building relationships with artists, brands, media outlets, record labels, music publishers, and other industry professionals, he has worked with several high profile artists in various capacities of the music industry such as, Kanye West, J. Balvin, Mos Def, Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean and John Legend, as well as numerous emerging artists and producers.  Daniel has gone on to spearhead Artist Relations and Creative partnerships for music/ tech giants Splice and Native Instruments where he created production content products with major talents like Chad Hugo, SiA, Just Blaze, Grimes, Day Trip and many others. Daniel has amassed several notable achievements including Holding a position on the advisory board for Ford Motors “Ford Fiesta” campaign; consulting on brand marketing strategy with established agencies (Code and Theory, Epiphany, Mass Appeal, MRY, Complex, and Weiden + Kennedy); Music Supervisor for 360i and working closely with marquee brands such as Adidas, Boost Mobile, Red Bull, Snapple, Truly and Dr. Pepper.

RBC Launchpad Music Entrepreneurship Program is a 4-month educational initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering local emerging artists, music creators, and entrepreneurs. The new edition of the program welcomes 50 participants between the ages of 18 to 35 that have been selected from more than 400 applications from all over Canada.

As part of this initiative, we are offering a number of music entrepreneurship workshops that are open to the Launchpad community and the public. Please note, some extra curriculum materials might be only available for the program participants.
