Let’s Play - Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Who we are today is a learned behavior. Our logical, cortex brain enjoys protecting us through rational reasoning, while our emotional brain uses fight or flight to stay away from the unknown. To avoid predictable results, we need to embrace the uneasy, get comfortable being uncomfortable, and approach situations in new ways.You Will Learn: This workshop will channel our beginner’s mind through play:• Welcome a safe space for learning, unlearning, and relearning• Build trust and collaboration skills through the uncertainty of spontaneous play• Practice presence through a popular improvisational technique,  "yes, and"• Strengthen right brain neural bonds to encourage new ideas and unconventional thinkingFacilitator:Shinjini Sur (Shin) is a mindset mastery nerd and creator. She followed her obsession of human optimization after 6 years as a brand manager at L’Oreal and Pepsico. Her research has led her into neuroscience, biology, psychology, philosophy, and creativity. She started The Great Kind in 2019 to find an answer what it takes to become our Greatest. By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organiser.
