Embroidery Basics

In this workshop, students will explore 7 fundamental stitches for surface embroidery. Designed for complete beginners as well as experienced stitchers who would like to broaden their stitch library. She specializes in dimensional hand embroidery and delves in mircro-crochet jewellery. Her background in fashion design has laid a foundation as a professional sewist. Having worked in the bridal industry for 5 years, she learned about the fine details and bead embroidery essential to wedding and formal wear; then realized her brand during the Pandemic. Currently she has been working for the costume department in film, taking on some freelance projects and living a creative and colourful life.@talitjiang Arrival Information: Participants please check-in with the Member Experience team at the front desk, they will show you into the studio. Please note, late arrivals (15 minutes or more) will not be admitted. These courses have limited capacity and require preparation by the Creative Studio’s technical team, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and late arrivals will not be refunded. Contact Member Services to cancel your attendance prior to the 24hr deadline or to rebook onto the next scheduled workshop. *Please be aware that attending this workshop (201) does not give you open access to the Studio.
